Started by Prof L.J Grobler and Danie Voster of the University of North West in Potchefstroom in 2000 and in 2007 the present owners acquired the business and since then have strived to promote their vision of providing a premium product at budget prices. Complete Pet Nutrition is a supplier of high-quality pet food to pet owners across South Africa, with products that are formulated and manufactured under stringent quality control procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. All ingredients have been carefully selected to ensure the best quality at the best price and the manufacturing process guarantees consistency in every batch that’s produced. The ingredients in Complete’s range of dog foods assist in maintaining general health and promote a shiny coat and healthy skin.

The Complete range has been designed to provide dog food for all breed sizes and ages with a product in each pricing bracket. Complete Pet Food has been operating in the industry for over 20 years and has built special relationships with pet shop owners across South Africa, always caring and looking for ways to help improve their businesses and service to pet owners. Since its launch in 1956, the Pattex brand has become synonymous with total reliability in gluing and bonding solutions for professionals, craftsmen, and the construction industry. PFI Membership

Complete Pet Food is a proud long-standing member of the Pet Food Industry Association of South Africa (PFI).

The PFI is a non-profit body formed by pet food manufacturers, dedicated to upholding quality standards that ensure the nutritional well-being of household pets. Representing 62% of the pet food market in South Africa, each member commits to manufacture and market food that meets internationally accepted standards as set out in Act 36 of 1947. The Department of Agriculture’s regulatory authority manages Act 36.

Pet Food is randomly and regularly purchased by the PFI and submitted for an independent analysis. If the food does not meet the registered requirements, the manufacturer is reported to the Registrar of Act 36 for legal action.
